How We Track Your Progress

Assessment isn’t about grades — it’s about understanding your current position and where you’re headed next. We employ multiple methods to help you see your development and focus areas for targeted practice.

Portfolio Reviews

Every four weeks, we sit down to review your recent work. These conversations help identify patterns in your progress and highlight breakthroughs you may have overlooked.

Monthly Sessions

Practical Skill Tests

Short, targeted exercises that allow you to demonstrate specific techniques. Think of them as friendly challenges — can you achieve smooth gradations? Draw a cube in perspective? They help us see your technical growth.

Bi-weekly Exercises

Peer Feedback Sessions

Sometimes fellow students spot things instructors might miss. These structured group discussions teach you to analyze artwork constructively while gaining fresh viewpoints on your own work.

Weekly Groups

Self-Reflection Projects

You’ll document your artistic journey through written reflections and comparison studies. This metacognitive approach helps you become aware of your own learning process and artistic choices.
